Creating a task

Creating a task is simple. Go to the "Tasks an missions" section and click on "create task". A prompt will be opened you you will be guided through this process.

The only thing you MUST understand are some core principles of the app.

The GREENGAGE App requires for every task a point of interest. This point of interest is at least the starting point for one single mission. A POI can be used multiple times. But the relation is alway 1 Task has one POI.

Choose POI

If you have not created a POI yet. Don't worry you can do so in the process by clicking on "Create POI". A POI needs a location (lat/lng) which can be easily defined via our maps intergration.

Define your task

The first step was to define the POI. After that the UI of the dialog is updated and you will find multiple fields and options you need to define. The most important (and required fields) are:

• type
• position (latitude + longitude)

By choosing a type you define the purpose of the task. Currently the console support a variaty of task types. BUT: the APP only supports few of them. This will be changed in the following months.

Depending on the type you need to fill more fields. Eg. Survey requires the setup of a survey.
